    JOB SUMMARY:
    • To ensure that facilities and grounds are clean and ready for guest use, dependent on guest group schedule.
    • To clean, sanitize and tidy facilities, including floors, walls, windows, furniture, kitchens and appliances, bathrooms and fixtures
    • Laundering bedding and towels
    • Assisting with snow removal near entrances, and other facilities and grounds general maintenance tasks.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Specific duties may include but are not limited to: vacuuming floors and furnishings, mopping hard surface floors, cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning walls and windows, cleaning and disinfecting kitchens and bathrooms, emptying and sanitizing waste baskets, washing laundry, organizing linens and laundry room.
    2. Make beds and set towels as necessary.
    3. Maintain vacuums, cleaning caddies and supplies used to perform job.
    4. Record supply inventory as directed by supervisor. Inform supervisor when cleaning or house supplies are low.
    5. Observe established policies and procedures.
    6. Cleans and prepares the Creekside pavilion, amphitheater, front porch of lodge, and outside bathrooms for client use.
    7. Snow removal near entrances and general care and job tasks as assigned.

    RELATIONSHIPS, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:
    1. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests, and with courtesy and respect.
    2. Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks on scheduled and sometimes on short notice.
    3. Ability to handle a fast-paced, varied and busy work environment, based on booking calendar.
    4. Ability to work alone and to be self-motivated, efficient, and well-organized.
    5. Ability to work with a team when needed.
    6. Ability to lift 25 pounds, and to carry cleaning equipment up and down stairs.

    Job Description: Adventure Guides may be responsible for either working on attractions or guest services. Seasonal positions run from May 22, 2025 -September 1st, 2025. This includes:

    • Selling tickets

    • Food and beverage

    • Merchandise

    • Safe and efficient operation of all attractions

    • Ticket compliance

    In addition, and under supervision, guides may perform light maintenance and cleaning, and periodic inspections. Guides may be assigned to any attraction or station, and/or rotate throughout an assigned shift. Guides are also responsible for area cleanliness.

    The guides will, typically, be the first contact guests have at the park. As such, they must actively welcome guests and happily handle guest service issues. As the primary point of guest contact, guides must provide an exceptional guest service experience.

    OBJECTIVE: 
    The Back of House (BOH) Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our establishment’s kitchen operations to provide guests with high-quality, fast-casual dining options.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
    • Order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.
    • Place daily and weekly orders with vendors
    • Supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders.
    • Oversee the food preparation and plating processes.
    • Train new employees in designated kitchen stations.
    • Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments.
    • Work with the Taproom Manager to price and change menu items.
    • Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.
    • Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.
    • Track kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste.
    • Prep food as needed and establish a prep schedule and list for others to follow and complete daily/weekly.
    • Implement maintenance schedules for kitchen (cleaning grease trap, appliance maintenance, cleaning fridge condensers, monitor proper chemical levels etc.).
    • Maintain weekly schedule for kitchen staff.
    • Work with Taproom Manager (and Executive Team) to identify and execute growth opportunities.
    • Maintain Certified Food Protection Manager Certification (CFPM) through ServSafe.

    REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    • Communication: You will be in charge of overseeing all Taproom Team Members while scheduled to work in the kitchen, so it’s important to be able to convey information to your team in a clear and concise manner. You may also oversee training new kitchen staff, so it’s important to be able to explain kitchen procedures and safety measures in an easy-to-understand way.

    • Leadership: You are responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff and ensuring that all kitchen duties are completed in a timely manner. Effective leadership skills can help you motivate your team and ensure that they are working together to achieve common goals.

    • Time management: You may be responsible for overseeing multiple kitchen stations and ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner. Having strong time management skills can help you ensure that your kitchen staff is working efficiently and that customers are receiving their food in a timely manner.

    • Problem-solving: You may be responsible for resolving issues that arise in the kitchen. Your problem-solving skills can help you identify the source of a problem and develop a solution to fix it. You may also be responsible for resolving conflicts between kitchen staff members. Your ability to solve problems can help you diffuse tense situations and maintain a positive work environment.

    • Teamwork: You must be able to work well with others. Your ability to be a team player can help you to lead a group of kitchen staff effectively.

    Education & Experience:
    • Previous food service experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
    • Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
    • Strong management skills.
    • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
    • Prior food and beverage experience, base knowledge and passion for craft beer is a plus but not required.
    • Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • The work environment is usually that of a brewery/taproom
    • The employee regularly works with the general public.

Develop taproom menu with a focus on local, quality ingredients and items that pair well with and incorporate Icicle Brewing Company beers whenever possible.
