    The Willkommen center staff are our guest’s first contact for information and a warm welcome to Leavenworth.  This position plays a critical support role for the overall event and marketing teams as well as the effectiveness of the Visitor Center and the services we provide.

    Customer Service

    ·       Familiarize and share information about Chamber members’ offerings, locations, hours, etc.

    ·       Answer phones, greet visitors, respond to email requests and mail visitor information.

    ·       Educate visitors on how to enjoy Leavenworth.

    ·       Assist with lodging, activity, shopping, and service member referrals.

    ·       Stay up to date on event offerings around town, maintain events posters and help manage event calendar.

    ·       Visitor Center Brochure maintenance. (stock racks, request refills, etc.)

    ·       Keep lists on website updated (restaurants, shopping, activities)

    ·       Organize requests from large groups coming to Leavenworth wanting Visitor Guides, Maps, etc.

    ·       Update and stock Family Activity, Pet Friendly, Vegan & Gluten Free Guides.

    ·       Process Visitor Complaints – written, sent or given to Director.

    ·       Merchandise Sales – accurately enter merchandise into Square, process credit cards, make change.

    ·       Restock and maintain merchandise displays.

    ·       Update and stock Relocation and School Report packets.

    ·       Print labels from the electronic tourism lists sent to us, prepare mailings.

    Office Administration

    ·       Post Office, postage and bulk mailing

    ·       Copying, emails, and filing

    ·       Square credit card payment system, cash handling

    Event & Office Support

    ·       Provide administrative support to Executive Director, Media Director, and Event Director for special projects and events.

    ·       Proofreading print and electronic documents before they go out to membership/guests or to the printer.

    ·       Update Member Information on website

    ·       Event support for Winter Karneval, Maifest, Oktoberfest and Christmastown/Village of Lights.

    ·       Keep lobby, work area and restroom clean (vacuum, wipe down glass, empty garbage and recycling, etc.)

    Minimum Qualifications

    ·       Have an interest in, respect for, and ability to work with the public and provide destination information.

    ·       Strong interpersonal skills.

    ·       Commitment to clear, kind and professional communication

    ·       Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances due to seasonal events and responsibilities.

    ·       Ability to work actively indoors and out in a variety of conditions and share an open office space.

    ·       Current First Aid and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain.

    ·       Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) is helpful.

    ·       Previous customer service is helpful but not required.

    Full Time Position

    40 hours per week - weekends required

    A typical schedule is Thursday - Monday or Wednesday - Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    Qualifications Requirements

    OBJECTIVE:
    The Taproom Team Member will receive training in all the necessary skills to effectively manage the taproom's various areas of responsibility, which include food service, bartending, bussing, dishwashing, and guest services.
    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    FOOD:
    -Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
    -Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

    BARTENDER:

    -Suggest patrons to tables suitable for their needs.

    Objective:
