OBJECTIVE:
The Taproom Team Member will receive training in all the necessary skills to effectively manage the taproom's various areas of responsibility, which include food service, bartending, bussing, dishwashing, and guest services.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
FOOD:
-Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
-Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
-Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers.
-Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.
BARTENDER:
-Prepares and serves wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
-Ensures that bar is prepped with garnishes and fully stocked for the shift.
-Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
-Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
BUSSER/DISHWASHER/FLOOR HELP:
-Busses dirty dishes from tables and bussing stations and makes sure that tables are cleared, cleaned and sanitized.
-Washes all wares including pots, pans, storage containers, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwasher.
-Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
-Unloads and restocks bar area with clean glassware.
-Managing the inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other table condiments and supplies.
-Moving tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers as needed.
-Tidying the restaurant after service and ensuring that it is prepped for the following service.
GUEST SERVICES:
-If there is a line, you are passing out menus, explaining the flow, and directing customers to available bartenders.
-Assist the Busser by bussing and wiping tables.
-Jump in to bartend if the bar needs assistance.
-Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas and offer menus.
-Suggest patrons to tables suitable for their needs.
-Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
-Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Objective:

Objective:
The Food & Beverage Coordinator leads the day to day execution of prep kitchen operations, inventory management, and ordering to support efficient, safe, and consistent food and beverage operations. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role helps maintain high standards of food quality, service, health, and safety while contributing to positive guest experiences and a collaborative team environment aligned with München Haus’s purpose and values.
Essential Job Duties:
Oversee all prep kitchen daily operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and food quality
Execute inventory and ordering of all food and beverage products while maintaining appropriate stock levels and rotations
Maintain restaurant supplies and equipment, ordering office, restaurant, kitchen, and other supplies as needed or directed
Support staff with receiving food and beverage deliveries and serve as the main contact for all inbound department deliveries
Oversee cleanliness of all F&B spaces and equipment, working with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure all equipment is in good working condition
Maintain and foster vendor and sales rep relationships
Maintain cost controls by managing waste, inventory, and production levels
Track costs of goods sold with quarterly reporting and for year-end as directed, providing additional reports to leadership upon request
Support menu and recipe development, including cost of goods sold and pricing analysis
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, analyzing departmental costs, and periodic performance reporting
Assist Operations Manager with the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standardized recipes are documented, updated, and written as needed, maintained, and utilized for operational consistency and excellence.
Coach existing staff and new hires to ensure SOPs and standardized recipes are adhered to
Create and implement regular deep cleaning schedules for food prep and storage areas
Assist with cleaning reports, health department inspections, liquor license, safety inspections, and maintenance reports
Perform general administrative duties, such as ordering supplies, filing, scanning, mail processing, updating bulletin boards, cash drops, and maintaining hard copy and electronic filing systems as needed
Assist in distribution of Food and Beverage information, work collaboratively with Marketing department to ensure all public information and restaurant menus are up to date and accurate
Work collaboratively with leadership to maintain best practices for safe, high-performance facilities and sustainable business operations
Additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day prep kitchen workflows and staff activities
Monitor prep kitchen labor hours, day-to-day performance, and productivity, escalating concerns to the Operations Manager as needed
Collaborate with Operations Manager on scheduling, project coordination, and staffing support
Ensure adherence to health, food, and beverage safety regulations while maintaining consistent operational standards

Objective:
The Busser will assist and support Taproom bar and kitchen staff. As a busser, you will be responsible for cleaning and clearing tables, ensuring that restaurant supplies and equipment are clean and maintained, and assisting customers with requests or complaints.
Essential Job Duties:
Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and focuses on assisting customers.
Busses dirty dishes from tables and bussing stations.
Transports full bus tubs of dirty dishes and glassware to dish pit.
Washes all wares including pots, pans, storage containers, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwasher.
Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
Unloads and restocks bar area with clean glassware.
Assists customers with queries, requests, and redirecting as necessary.
Ensures that tables are cleared, cleaned, sanitized, and reset between seatings.
Assists with the cleaning and processing of dirty dishes and silverware.
Ensures that the menus, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned and replenished between tables.
Manages the inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other table condiments and supplies.
Moves tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers as needed.
Tidies the restaurant after service and ensuring that it is prepped for the following service.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Prior hospitality experience a plus.
Must have a great attitude.
Excellent customer service skills.
Great communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Possess or be able to obtain a WA Food Worker Card and Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Permit.
Able to maintain excellent customer service and positive guest interaction while working under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
Education and Experience:
Prior food and beverage or hospitality experience a plus, but not required.
Work Environment:
The work environment is usually that of a brewery/taproom.
The employee regularly works with the general public.
The employee regularly works in pantry-style kitchen.
The employee works in fluctuating temperatures.

Physical Requirements:
