    Essential Job Duties:

    There are four main areas in which a Crew Member can be assigned, depending on the day. The area in which a Crew Member is assigned to work on any given day is the focus of the shift, although, it does not dismiss the necessity of assisting other areas as needed within each shift. Crew Members perform all duties, in all areas, to the best of their ability.

    Kitchen/Grill

    Clean and sanitize all prep and customer service areas, including all stainless surfaces in grill area, counters and serving area, condiment areas and mustard racks.

    Prepare all equipment for the day.

    Prepare food.

    Maintain sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness of kitchen areas.

    Maintain consistent high quality food preparation and service.

    Wash dishes and clean sinks.

    Stock service items, paper and dry goods, and food items.

    Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks. Refer to checklists for duties to complete.

    Turn off, clean, and put away equipment at closing.

    Clean floor mats.

    Assist and communicate with other areas.

    Greet and serve customers.

    Rotate positions as needed. Take care of each other and ask for help when an extra person is needed or when breaks are needed.

    Courtyard

    Keep area and equipment clean and sanitized.

    Set up entire courtyard for customer service - Upstairs and down.

    Set out and stock customer service items. Wipe all dispensers clean.

    Set up line control chain links and umbrella with stand on front sidewalk

    Set up and maintain condiment bars.

    Put all deliveries away in appropriate areas. ROTATE inventory appropriately.

    Circulate courtyard and maintain frequent passes through ALL customer areas.

    Bus tables, clean, and stock dishes and silverware.

    Front

    Greet and serve customers.

    Prepare drinks for the day. Restock as needed.

    Stock all daily use items – disposables, service counter items, fridge items, chips, merchandise cabinet, etc.

    Wipe down menus, displays, stainless surfaces and front counter.

    Set up service counter displays. Stock to-go menus.

    Set up, clean, and update chalk signs out front.

    Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks. Refer to checklists for duties to complete.

    Assist and communicate with other areas.

    Set up and maintain register – monitor the cash/change in the till.

    Take customer orders.

    Monitor customer line. Pass out menus if needed.

    Rotate between customer service positions - Cashier, Drinks/Restocking & Line Controller

    Keep area and equipment clean and sanitized.

    Take out trash and recycling.

    Assist with dishes when able to.

    Monitor ticket volume at the grill to avoid overload.

    Beer Garden

    Keep area and equipment clean and sanitized.

    Stock all glassware, drinks, and merchandise cabinet.

    Monitor dates of open items to check for expirations.

    Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks. Refer to checklists for duties to complete.

    Assist and communicate with other areas.

    Greet and serve customers.

    Assist with courtyard cleanup of tables when able. Clear tables and sanitize.

    Take out trash and recycling.

    Remove empty kegs from cooler and maintain cooler cleanliness and organization.

    Fill out daily log book.

    Shift Change Duties

    Empty garbage and recycling, fill with new liners.

    Restock any supplies in your area.

    Check customer bathrooms. Restock any supplies that are low, sweep floor of paper bits, wipe sinks and counters and then smash down/empty garbages.

    Use free time to restock things and clean.

    Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.

    Clean and maintain all guestrooms to property specific standards.

    Clean and replenish designated number of rooms within assigned shift.

    OBJECTIVE:

    The Taproom Team Member will receive training in all the necessary skills to effectively manage the taproom's various areas of responsibility, which include food service, bartending, bussing, dishwashing, and guest services.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    FOOD:

    -Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.

    -Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

    -Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers.

    -Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.

    -Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.

    BARTENDER:

    -Prepares and serves wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.

    -Ensures that bar is prepped with garnishes and fully stocked for the shift.

    -Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.

    -Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.

    BUSSER/DISHWASHER/FLOOR HELP:

    -Busses dirty dishes from tables and bussing stations and makes sure that tables are cleared, cleaned and sanitized.

    -Washes all wares including pots, pans, storage containers, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwasher.

    -Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.

    -Unloads and restocks bar area with clean glassware.

    -Managing the inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other table condiments and supplies.

    -Moving tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers as needed.

    -Tidying the restaurant after service and ensuring that it is prepped for the following service.

    GUEST SERVICES:

    -If there is a line, you are passing out menus, explaining the flow, and directing customers to available bartenders.

    -Assist the Busser by bussing and wiping tables.

    -Jump in to bartend if the bar needs assistance.

    -Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas and offer menus.

    -Suggest patrons to tables suitable for their needs.

    -Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.

    -Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
