HOLY SCHNITZEL! LEAVENWORTH OKTOBERFEST RETURNS TO THE BAVARIAN VILLAGE FOR THREE WEEKENDS OF MUSIC, DANCING, AND FESTIVE FUN

2026 Entertainment Lineup Brings the Return of European Headliners and Fan Favorites

 

(LEAVENWORTH, Wash.) – Oktoberfest returns to Leavenworth for three unforgettable weekends: Oct. 2-3, 9-10, and 16-17. The Bavarian-style celebration takes over the Leavenworth Festhalle and Front Street Park with beer gardens and three lively stages packed with nonstop entertainment. Tickets are on sale now, and festivalgoers can explore the full entertainment lineup, purchase tickets, and order official Oktoberfest merchandise.

This year’s lineup features two headlining acts straight from Europe alongside a full roster of returning favorites: 

WEEKEND 1 HEADLINERS — OCT. 2-3

●      Oesch’s die Dritten — This high-energy Swiss family yodeling band from the Bernese Oberland brings more than 25 years of touring experience across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, delivering harmonized yodeling and an accordion-driven Alpine sound.

●      West Coast Prost — California’s premier polka variety band brings youthful energy to traditional favorites, playing everything from polkas and waltzes to Dixieland, swing, and country-western classics.

WEEKEND 2 HEADLINERS — OCT. 9-10

●      European Take-Out — This Pacific Northwest polka favorite brings more than a decade of Oktoberfest experience and a genre-spanning setlist to the celebration.

WEEKEND 3 HEADLINERS — OCT. 16-17

●      Freddy Pfister Band — Straight from Austria’s Zillertal region, this Volksmusik and Schlager group, led by former Schürzenjäger member Manfred “Freddy” Pfister, blends traditional Alpine melodies with upbeat party hits.

●      Manuela Horn — The one and only Yodelin’ Queen returns with her crowd-favorite, high-energy performances.

ALL FESTIVAL WEEKENDS

●      S-Bahn — This Canadian polka variety powerhouse has a devoted fan base and serves up high-octane performances perfect for Oktoberfest revelry.

●      Michael Stoessl — A renowned folk singer and world-touring professional yodeler from Germany, Stoessl shares his classic Bavarian flair throughout the festival.

●      Fan Favorites — Beloved acts including Smilin’ Scandinavians, AlpenFolk, Max Kyllonen, the Leavenworth Alphorns, and the Ted Lunka Polka Band provide the foundation for the traditional Oktoberfest sound attendees know and love.

●      Enzian Schuhplattler Dancers, Edelweiss Dance Academie, and the Tirolean Dancers of Portland — These traditional dance and music groups from Seattle, Leavenworth, and Portland dazzle audiences with energetic German folk dances and ornate costumes.

Festivalgoers can look forward to more vendors, delicious food, and an expanded lineup of local and imported beers, featuring Paulaner, Weihenstephaner, Ayinger, Hofbräu, and Spaten from Germany, alongside the locally brewed Leavenworth Festbier and other local craft selections.

Kinderplatz offers 10,000 square feet of adventure for all ages. Guests can soar above the festival on the 62-foot Ferris wheel, try their luck at classic carnival games, cool down in the root beer garden, enjoy festive face painting, and discover even more surprises throughout the space. Admission is included with each festival ticket. Kinderplatz hours are 6-9 p.m. Fridays, and noon-9 p.m. Saturdays. Some activities and treats, including carnival games and root beer floats, may require a small fee.

New this year, a clear bag policy and reusable tap-to-pay festival wristbands will help keep lines moving so guests can spend more time celebrating.

Attendees are encouraged to pull out their best Trachten, or traditional Bavarian attire, and celebrate Oktoberfest in Leavenworth — Prost!
