LEAVENWORTH’S VILLAGE OF LIGHTS FULLY ILLUMINATED AS CHRISTMASTOWN FESTIVITIES CONTINUE

Popular Jewel Tones concert rescheduled for Dec. 20; Manuela Horn and Her Slay Belles to perform Dec. 21 & 23

(LEAVENWORTH, Wash.) – Leavenworth’s beloved Village of Lights is shining bright once again, with Christmastown festivities continuing as scheduled throughout the holiday season. Following last week’s severe weather, Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce crews began work on the Front Street Park trees on Sunday. With damage to the lights being less than anticipated, the Village of Lights is now fully illuminated and welcoming visitors back to town.

Christmastown activities at the Gazebo and throughout Front Street Park are once again underway, and live holiday entertainment continues at the Festhalle Auditorium. The Jewel Tones concert has been rescheduled for December 20, with Manuela Horn and Her Slay Belles performing on December 21 and 23. 

“We’re incredibly grateful to the crews and agencies who worked tirelessly to restore power to Leavenworth fully,” said Troy Campbell, Executive Director of the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce. “Seeing the town glowing again is a meaningful moment for our community, our local businesses, and for everyone who cherishes Christmastown as part of their holiday traditions.”

Visitors are encouraged to check current road conditions before traveling, and to allow a little extra time as crews continue post-storm cleanup efforts in the region. Highway 2 (Stevens Pass) remains closed at this time due to road damage, with travelers encouraged to travel to Leavenworth via Interstate 90 (Snoqualmie Pass) and Highway 97 (Blewett Pass).

For those unable to visit prior to Christmas, the Village of Lights remains illuminated nightly through the end of February, with events every weekend in January, and promotions during the month of February.
